At the beginning of the tour a 1.5-hour boat ride will take you through Sierpe mangrove swamps (a great chance to spot wildlife such as crocodiles, monkeys, birds, sloth) and then through the ocean toward the National Park San Pedrillo Station. At the park, you will do a hike lasting from 3 to 4 hours and afterwards have lunch. Sometimes, the bilingual guide will stop at waterfalls on the way and you can go for a short swim! You will return to Uvita around 4-5 pm.
About the park:
The Corcovado National Park is a paradisiacal site larger than 52.000 hectares, hosting primary and secondary forest, beaches and spring waterfalls in tropical climate. Thanks to the great biodiversity of the location, it is a great spot to observe different types of birds and other animals within their own habitat, as three-toed and two finger sloths, anteaters, white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, and many others.
